Drawing inspiration from my favorite director, I’ll document Montana’s first territorial capital on 35mm film, fully committing all 36 exposures of Ilford HP5 Plus to telling the story of the West.

Set at the Old Montana State Prison and shot on 35mm film, I will tell through my lens the story of Myles and Smart’s bloody prison riot- committing all 36 exposures to its retelling.

An exploration of what remains of a ghost town near and dear to me - Coolidge, Montana.

Tucked away in a small unincorporated community of Northern Colorado sits the last existing Overland Stage Station.
The Station with its quaint town founded and built by legend Joseph Alfred (Jack) Slade in 1862 at the age of 31, was named for his beloved wife Virginia.

This May (at the age of 31) I will travel to Virginia Dale to photograph this hidden and somewhat sadly forgotten gem of the west, checking off the bucket list something I’ve kept close to my heart for 20 years.
